Evans is the founder and Managing Partner of EDP Management LLC–offering executive coaching, leadership transition, and career optimization services to clients from the corporate and non-profit sectors.
Evans is passionate about helping people and organizations. As a coach, he helps individuals identify and connect their strengths, passions, and professional experience in ways that lead to productive opportunities and results. He believes that success is grounded in knowing one’s core values, maintaining sharp focus, and building strong personal relationships and partnerships. Evans infuses his practice with tools, guidance, and practical application to real-time challenges, while also serving as a sounding board and thought partner.
As a leadership transition expert, Evans guides both incoming and outgoing executives and their organizations in designing paths to success. He assists with negotiations, preparing the organization for transition, closure, “hand-off”, onboarding, and all aspects of individual and organizational change.
Evans’ perspective is shaped by 25 years of experience providing training and coaching in leadership, strategy, and change management. He has helped executives and entrepreneurs start and build more than 2,200 new businesses. Prior to establishing EDP Management, Evans served as a senior executive at AT&T where he helped clients expand their businesses by developing sound strategies, marketing plans, and growth initiatives. He brings this deep experience–and the many practical lessons learned along the way–to his coaching and leadership transition practice.
Based in Troy, Michigan, EDP Management works with individuals and organizations in
SE Michigan and throughout the country. Clients include Fortune 500 companies, small to medium-sized businesses, entrepreneurs, professional associations, and charitable organizations.
